2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Walk Around Video
The DVD of my presentation that won me the 2010 E-Class Walk Around National Championship has finally arrived. This is a 15 minute presentation, tailored to a client interested in Technology, and my goal was to get the maximum points on the scoresheet. This isn't how I would normally present to a new client in the showroom but it is a great way to pack in a lot of information! I hope you enjoy it!

2009 Atlanta Breast Cancer 3-Day Starts Tomorrow!
I am walking in the Breast Cancer 3-Day to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure this weekend. This is a 3-Day, 60 mile walk from Lake Lanier to Turner Field! My team of 6 women has raised nearly $18,000 this year!

The 2010 E-Class Sedan and Coupe Have Arrived at Atlanta Classic Cars!

2010 E550 Has Left The Building!
It was great to get a chance to preview the E550 while it waited to be picked up! The E-Class will return to Atlanta Classic Cars for a launch party on June 10th and the full-time demo should follow soon after. The current target date for US release is "late June."

JD Power Customer Satisfaction Service Results at Atlanta Classic Cars
The good news keeps coming for the Atlanta Classic Cars service department! The 2009 J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Index has ranked us 34th out of 335 Mercedes-Benz Dealerships in the US so far this year! It is great for a large dealership like us to break the top 10%.
We were ranked in the following categories. Scores are out of a possible 1000 points.

2009 SL65 Black Series Available for Sale at Atlanta Classic Cars
Our 2009 SL65 Black Series is now available for sale! This car arrived at the dealership earlier this month and is ready for delivery! It is stunning! The pictures do not do it justice. It seems to be about as wide as it is long - the fender flares are mind boggling! The interior is gorgeous with the contrast stitching and special gauges. It also sounds phenomenal!

Mercedes-Benz Stars of Service Champions - Four Winners at Atlanta Classic Cars!
Joe Carpenter, Al Macaulay, Troy Metts and Bob Padovano of the Atlanta Classic Cars service department were named as round one winners in the competition to find the Best of the Best in Mercedes-Benz Service.
The first round of the U.S. competition was completed in March 2009. This round of the competition consisted of a very intense and comprehensive online test, and the 632 dealership employees who emerged with the highest scores were determined as round one winners! These winners represent the top 10% of technicians and service advisors.
Atlanta Classic Cars is very proud to offer our clients the best possible service from the time of the sale through the whole ownership experience. If you haven't serviced with us before, it is worth the trip!

2009 Atlanta Auto Show
The 2009 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Auto Show kicks off this weekend at the World Congress Center. I am scheduled to work in the Mercedes-Benz area on Saturday the 14th from 4-9pm. Come by and say hello if you are in the neighborhood!
Unfortunately, Atlanta is not considered one of the BIG auto shows and we will not have any of the upcoming 2010 Mercedes models on display (except the 2010 GLK which is already in showrooms). I am looking forward to checking out some competitors while I am there. Look for my photo comparison of the similar dash layouts in the updated Lexus RX and the Honda Odyssey minivan.

Atlanta Classic Cars - Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk
We did it!
The ACC Breast Friends completed the Breast Cancer 3-Day last weekend!
It was quite an experience. We trudged through the rain all day Friday, enjoyed the sunshine on Saturday and then limped across the line on Sunday, having completed the journey...every one of us!
It was amazing to have the support of the communities we walked through. Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Duluth, Norcross and Atlanta cheered us on as we walked by.
I thank you again for your support. Without your generous contribution I would not have been able to exceed my fundraising goal and participate. The ACC Breast Friends raised nearly $32,000 for Komen for the Cure and the entire Atlanta event raised $8.3 million! We can beat this disease!

Our 2009 GL320 and ML320 BlueTEC Test Vehicles are Here!
Mercedes-Benz has sent us a 2009 ML320 BlueTEC and a 2009 GL320 BlueTEC to test drive for the next month. You might notice them on the road with their...distinctive wrapping. I went for a spin in the GL320 BlueTEC yesterday. I wanted to see how the 20" run-flat tires impacted the ride quality. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the ride was as comfortable as it has ever been. I think Mercedes took great care to compensate for the run-flats with the suspension set up. Also, the 20" size is not too big. It almost feels more suited to the size of the GL that the 18" wheels did.

Atlanta Breast Cancer 3-Day is this Weekend!
Finally, after 6 months of preparation it is time for the 3-Day walk! Thanks to the generous support of Atlanta Classic Cars, clients, friends and family the ACC Breast Friends team has raised more than $31,000! We are excited to attend the event and see if the more than 600 miles of training walks have prepared us for 3 days and 60 miles. Wish us luck!

Atlanta Classic Cars SLK55 Owners Meetup
Atlanta Classic Cars hosted a meeting for some of our fastest owners this weekend. SLK55 AMG owners from the Atlanta area were invited to the dealership to meet up. They compared accessories and talked upgrades before heading up to Chateau Elan for lunch.
It was great to see such an impressive collection of vehicles and talk to such an enthusiastic bunch of owners! Three of my own clients were able to make it. I am glad that Shelton, Rick and Joe are satisfied buyers! Thanks for coming and I hope you'll visit again soon!

Atlanta Classic Cars Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk
A little update on the ACC Breast Friends...I am 76% of the way to my $2200 goal to participate in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer 3-Day walk in October! I have also started my training for the walk and have logged 33 miles in the last 2 weeks.
As a team, the ACC Breast Friends are 36% of the way to our team goal. In addition to our individual donations we have raised another 10% through our Bake Sales! Our next fundraiser is a Classic Car, Truck and Bike Show that we will host in Snellville on June 14th. click here to see the flyer. Come out if you can! 100% of the proceeds go to Susan G. Komen!

KARR Track - Vehicle tracking
Atlanta Classic Cars has been installing KARR Track, a vehicle recovery solution, on all of our loaner cars for the last few months. I am sure most of your are familiar with LoJack - Well, this is a similar system but with some great upgrades. This system costs about $1000 installed and gives you the ability to track your vehicle online whenever you want! That's huge! My sales manager is excited to have it on his kids cars so he can see where they are and how fast they are going. We would be happy to install it on cars you already own in addition to installing it on your new Mercedes! Here are the official specs from the KARR Track website. All of these things can be done from their website once the vehicle is registered!
