This is a great 15 minute video of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class being developed from clay model to test track to production.
Interesting moments for me:
It was a great weekend for Mercedes in Formula 1 and I do like it when the drivers don’t take themselves too seriously!
Atlanta Classic Cars installed our first Illuminated Star on a 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350 today! I was worried it would be a little too flashy but it is well done and fairly subtle. It really does add a WOW factor the the vehicle! It was hard to take good pictures in the daytime but I did want to show how the housing for the bulbs is a full star and circle behind the chrome emblem.
I have often heard it described as the answer to a question that no one asked. However, it is the favorite of many enthusiasts and gets rave reviews from anyone who drives it! You know you want one!
Mercedes-Benz TV has posted a preview video for the 2014 Mercedes-benz S-Class! The official press launch will be this Wednesday!
European Delivery is a popular option for sedan and convertible buyers but my SUV owners don’t have that option because most SUVs are built in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Mercedes-Benz US International factory is award-winning, constantly expanding and world-class. Come on Mercedes-Benz, show it off! Give us an Alabama Delivery option!
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class should be arriving any minute now and it has some exciting new technology! This is the first of our vehicles to get the Steering Assist upgrade to the Distronic Plus. Now the radar can keep you both an appropriate distance from the vehicle in front and in the center of your lane. This system uses the electromechanical steering to stay centered as oppsed to using the brakes like Active Lane Keep Assist. I can’t wait to try it out! Also, doesn’t the 2014 E-Class look great in this video?
“The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG’s S model offers almost 600 horsepower, but we bet few people are terribly disappointed that it’s actually 23 shy. And with 590 lb-ft of torque testing the traction limits on all four tires, it’s hard to feel anything but a giddy sense of awe.”
“In a masterstroke of customer understanding, Mercedes will offer E63 wagon buyers—i.e., enlightened lunatics—only the higher-output tune.”
“Our tech department’s educated guess predicts that the E63 can hit 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, the S in 3.3, and either version can complete a quarter-mile blitzkrieg in less than 12 seconds.”
