As the global automotive coatings leader, DuPont issued its 58th Global Automotive Color Popularity Report, which lists silver and black in tight competition for the title of “world’s most popular car color.”
The top 10 global vehicle colors are as follows:
1. Silver – 26 percent
2. Black/Black Effect – 24 percent
3. White/White Pearl and Gray – 16 percent each (tie)
5. Red – 6 percent
6. Blue – 5 percent
7. Brown/Beige – 3 percent
8. Green – 2 percent
9. Yellow/Gold – 1 percent
10. Others – <1 percent
The North American chart below shows that white is #1 for the fourth year in a row. Keep an eye on Brown/Beige…I hear it is up and coming!

As an official drop off point, Atlanta Classic Cars is proud to support the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

It’s not all about good looks, comfort and safety…My 2007 ML320 CDI sometimes has to act like a work truck! The ML towed a few tons of wood from one side of the yard to the other while climbing steep grades and maneuvering through tight spaces. What a great all-around vehicle!

If your going to be in Germany for a European delivery or just vacation between now and October 16th be sure to check out the SLS AMG on the roof of the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Untertuerkheim. I visited the museum during my Master Guild trip last year and I highly recommend it.
People are always asking me what the most popular paint colors are for new vehicles. As Mercedes doesn’t make anything too flashy, I have always said that silver, black and white are our best sellers. Turns out I was right! This official ranking from Dupont shows that White is currently top of the heap! I would go a little further and specify that white with a pano-roof is always at the top of my list.
