For the last 6 years I have participated in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure! This is a 60 mile walk around the streets of Atlanta with thousands of other participants. Since 2008 my team, the Ribbon Ladies, has raised over $140,000!
The 5k for the 3-Day is a 5k race at the local park that I created to support our fundraising for the 3-Day walk. Atlanta Classic Cars is the presenting sponsor and makes it possible for 100% of the proceeds to go to the 3-Day for the Cure.
If you live in the Atlanta Area please register and come out and run or walk with us this Saturday! The race starts at 9am. You can register online here as a runner or if you you can’t attend but would like a shirt, as a “ghost runner.”
