The 2010 E-Class sedan is due to arrive in the US this summer. As always, Mercedes releases very little information until they release the vehicle. In the last few days a lot of pictures have been floating around the internet. Here are some of the best that I have seen. These are likely to be European specification cars and the US version may vary slightly. I’ll keep you posted when I know anything for sure.

The 2010 GLK350 has officially been released to dealerships! We have 11 scheduled to arrive in the next few days in White, Black, Silver, Steel Gray, Red, Obsidian Black and Sand Beige. MSRPs range from $42,460 up to $49,875. The all have the Premium 1 package that includes Panoramic roof, Rain Sensor, Driver memory seat, Homelink, Auto-dimming mirrors, Sirius Radio, Power Liftgate, 115V AC power plug, and Compass in interior mirror.

We are also expected to get a lease special from Mercedes-Benz financial for under $500/month on the GLK! I do still have the White demonstrator GLK350 here for you to see and drive!

I am not an iPod user so my knowledge of this subject is limited. However, I know that many of you are as passionate about your iPhone as you are about your Mercedes-Benz.

The new MultiMedia Interface cable in the 2009 vehicles has been a wonderful upgrade for interfacing with iPods and iPhones. It is very easy to access folders and artists right from the main command screen. A problem with the system has been that when you plug in your 3G iPhone it gives a message that it is incompatible and unable to charge. According the to Apple website this error will probably also happen with 4th generation iPod Nano and 2nd generation iPod Touch devices.

It would be handy to be able to charge these devices in the car while listening to music. It seems that this little adaptor (Scosche passPORT), available for about $25 at your local Apple store or online, will fix the problem. I haven’t had a chance to try it but from what I have read it works well.

The new lease and finance specials from Mercedes-Benz for the month of January will be released on Monday the 5th. Until then, the December programs remain in effect.
