This is a 15 minute presentation, tailored to a client interested in Technology, and my goal was to get the maximum points on the scoresheet. This isn’t how I would normally present to a new client in the showroom but it is a great way to pack in a lot of information! I hope you enjoy it!

The 2010 E63 has been a hot commodity for the last few months! Every one we have had has been pre-sold so I haven’t even had a chance to drive one yet. Maybe one of these will make it here without a deposit and I’ll get a chance. Maybe not! Please get it touch if one of the E63s should have your name on it!

There has been rumor for months that the SPLITVIEW Front-Seat Entertainment system would be coming to the US market for the S and CL. It is official! It is now an orderable option. If you have an S or CL on order you may be able to add this option depending on its order status.

SPLITVIEW allows the driver and passenger to view two different sources on the same COMAND screen. The driver can control all of the normal COMAND functions like radio, navigation and phone while the passenger can use headphones and a remote to watch DVD video on the same screen!

State law prohibits this system on vehicles registered in AL, AZ, CO, IL, LA, MD, MA, NH, PA, VT, VA, WA, WV and WI. But we can have it in Georgia!

If you purchase a car with this option, your dealer’s service department will still need to activate it for you once you have acknowledged that you understand the legal requirements for using it in your state.

Starting with the December production schedule, the P30 Performance Package will be discontinued. The P31 AMG Development Package will be introduced with an eye towards pleasing our power-hungry driving enthusiasts.

The Limited Slip Differntial from the P30 Package will be available as a stand alone option (code 471) for $2000. The suspension components of the P30 package have been completely discontinued because of owner feedback that it made the ride too stiff.

Many of my clients, at the end of their lease, have looked into purchasing their own vehicle. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes the residual value is too high compared to market value. Sometimes a Certified Pre-Owned car with extended warranty and special finance rates is a better deal. Now I can offer you the best of both worlds – you can keep your own car AND get the Pre-Owned specials!

Mercedes-Benz USA and Mercedes-Benz Financial have announced the Indirect Customer Purchase (ICP) program. Through this program you can turn in your lease to the dealership, we can buy it from Mercedes-Benz Financial at a price lower than or equal to your residual value, and then sell it back to you. The benefit to you is that we can also send it through the shop to become a Certified Pre-Owned car before we sell it back to you. That way you get any needed repairs, a 100,000 mile warranty and qualify for any special Certified finance rates. This is a fantastic deal! I’ve had so many clients over the years that would have loved to do this!

You can choose the dealership that you want to work with for this program. It does not have to be the dealership where you bought the vehicle originally. If you are in the Atlanta area, I would be happy to handle the process!

The ML450 Hybrid is being launched Monday, November 16th! Mercedes has just given us the leasing options.

There will be a 36 month lease at about $140 more per month than an ML350 4matic. The other option is a 60 month lease, which includes a 5 year, 100,000 mile warranty, that will be about $85 more per month than the comparable ML350.

The ML450 Hybrid is a VERY limited production vehicle. If you are interesting getting one you should act soon to secure a production spot.

We just took in a 2009 SL63 AMG with 5400 miles. As there are no more SLs in production until later this spring and probably no AMGs for a few months beyond that…this is a great opportunity!

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK has been a great success in the compact luxury SUV segment. It is the best seller!

To further enhance this great design, Mercedes is introducing the AMG Styling Package. This package will be available to order in January and includes:

• AMG-designed front and rear bumpers with chrome skid plates
• 20″ AMG twin five-spoke wheels with all-season tires
• Aluminum roof rails
• LED daytime running lamps (does not require lighting package)

The AMG Styling Package will be priced at $1,970.

The Univeral Media Interface or UMI has generated a lot of interest and questions since it was launched for the C-Class and GLK last year. There have been some complaints about the system being slow and Mercedes has addressed that and launched the new and improved Nav + 4 with enhanced performance and funtionality.

Nav + 4 has the same features as UMI:

4 – AUX Interface
5 – Bluetooth Audio Streaming

The improvements to the system are:

The NEW part number is A204 870 7096 and the MSRP is $1685 plus labor. The price could vary depending on the equipment already present in your vehicle. Also, it should be possible to upgrade an old UMI to the enhanced Nav + 4 with a software flash.
